I liked the solid rock, and can only imagine how much "fun" the standard route from Navaho would be for El Diente. Did you do the "low traverse" then? I just g...Amazing trip report and pictures, thanks! I just got back from the area after my 14er finisher last weekend on El Diente. Needless to say, you had MUCH better weather than we did. We climbed up in pretty dense fog most of the day but luckily we were able to summit without rain. We decided to bypass the traverse though as the clouds were looking really sketchy. We got rained on during our hike down to Kilpacker. We ran into a group coming up the Buttress route and they said it was awful. In any case, good job!
